Cabby USA here: I have been receiving an alarming amount of Emails from Cabbys and Fares alike..Many I will not Post for You Cabby Ken..The Alarming factor is their is toooo much Violence in our Country..Hope and Pray that Canada is a little Safer
I do have a story. A friend of mine was driving a cab in Redlands and at the time in San Bernardine CA, 3 cab drivers had been murdered. Well he picked up a fare where he was robbed at gunpoint, told to drive to where an empty field was. The guy walked him 1/2 way into the field and told him to get on his knees then the guy put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger. The gun misfired and didn’t go off. The guy proceeded to beat the shit out of my friend thinking that he had killed him – yes my friend did “play dead” and the robber left him there in the field. Well my buddy did survive but he also was in the hospital for over a month – remember the other guy was trying to beat his ass so bad as to kill him. When the police police were able to see him (while at the hospital) to interrogate him they also brought some pictures of some possible suspects and my buddy was able to I.D. the fucker.
Now I’ll be honest. He wasn’t so much a buddy but someone I knew. I was better friends with his brother than with him.

But Stories like this have to be posted! Or we’re just kidding ourselves with the real world.
All i can say is be wise out there, know your surroundings, go with your gut feeling, and believe it or not you can read people..That’s your gut feeling..Go with it!
